How do you limit the personal and business consequences of a bankruptcy? What are the signs of a threatening insolvency? What is the added value of an independent accountant?

Insolvency

You probably don't want to dwell on the fact that insolvency - no longer being able to meet your payment obligations - is something that you may be faced with. However unfortunately it does affect many entrepreneurs. Bankruptcy cannot always be prevented, but by taking action in time it is possible to limit the adverse consequences of this, both for you personally and for the healthy parts of your business. You cannot start to take this action soon enough. Legal transactions that have been carried out 'with bankruptcy in view' will be set aside by the receiver if the creditors are adversely affected by it.

The advantage of Accountants + Adviesgroep Los as an adviser is that we combine financial and economic insight with a legal view of the business. In the case of starting or existing healthy businesses or in case of threatening insolvency, we highlight and analyse possible problems that may lead to insolvency. Partly due to our pro-active attitude we are gladly called in by receivers or others involved, of course taking into account our independent position as an accountant or adviser. Where necessary we use the services of other experts within our network, both within the Netherlands and internationally.
