As entrepreneur, depending on the business form you have chosen, you have several relationships with the business. You are entitled to the fruits of the business, the profit. You have control over the business, you can take decisions. As director-major shareholder you are also an employee. Perhaps you are also the financer of the business or the landlord. All these relationships involve rights and obligations.

The entrepreneur

It seems a bit strange as entrepreneur to enter into written agreements with your business. Many entrepreneurs regard this as an agreement with themselves. Such agreements are also very important in case of insolvency or if you want to sell your business. Something that has been ignored for many years is usually difficult to rectify at a later stage.

Important questions are: how safe are your private assets? Can you as director be held liable for the debts of the company?
